At this year’s 11th International “Security for the Future” Forum, held on September 25th and 26th in Belgrade, Glog.AI participated in the panel discussion titled Security 5.0: Humans, Technology, and Risk Management in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.

Our founder and CEO, Dragan Pleskonjić, spoke on the panel, highlighting the most significant challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence brings to the field of security.

AI in the Service of Security

Dragan Pleskonjić emphasized that the transition to the Security 5.0 concept means that security is no longer viewed merely as a reactive measure, but as a predictive and proactive process. This requires systems to learn, anticipate, and prevent potential threats in advance from software development to the protection of computer systems, networks, and devices.

He also discussed how Glog.AI utilizes AI to detect and remediate vulnerabilities in code and integrate security into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps). Also, he spoke about the INPRESEC platform, which identifies anomalies in network traffic and device behavior in real-time.

Key Messages from the Panel

  • Prediction is the new standard; reaction is obsolete.
  • Automation is not an option, but an imperative.
  • Security must be an integral part of everything, not an add-on. It must be built-in from the start.
  • Intelligence (context) is more important than data.
  • AI is a partner, not a replacement for humans.
  • Cybersecurity is a multi-layered and continuous process.

The International “Security for the Future” Forum once again confirmed the importance of innovation and collaboration between academia and industry in building organizational resilience against cyberattacks and security threats. Glog.AI remains dedicated to its mission of assisting organizations in discovering vulnerabilities faster, protecting their information systems, and predicting future attacks through AI-powered tools.
